welcome to Washington

We have arrived! Cooler weather than we (I) imagined it to be in the midst of summer, but I think I will survive. it is breath taking here, the air is so refreshing and easy to breathe in. The tree's are taller than I have ever seen before, so much taller than the Florida palms I remember. It truly is a sight to see! Whistler fell right into place as always making it feel like he is right at home and Nick gets to wear a pair of Jeans (he never gets to wear back home). And most of all it is great to see grammie Carol. With her smiles awaiting us at the airport earlier this morning... We are here!!! (whistler enjoying some strawberry rhubarb fool (aka glop)).
