Day one: June 10, 2012

thanks to t-mobile we have been out of touch with anyone for the past four days, the first four days of our biking trip. We cannot begin to put into words to describe the beautiful scenery, the biking , the people we have met, and more. We left Bellingham around 9:00 am making our way through to our campsite destination. The ride started off great as we biked through town looking like a homeless couple carrying around our child. Down the road we went heading East for highway 20, a road we will soon become close and longtime friends with as we travel across Washington. After biking approximately 45 miles at an average pace of 9 miles, we made it to Rasar State Park. Whistler started off great too. He was very exited to play on the playground they had at the park.we biked straight for the first 30 miles, speed to eat lunch and continued on our way. We picked up a nice off the highway biking trail along the Skagit River. Lots of barking dogs being called back by their masters, me only hoping they didn't chase us down as I remembered being chased by a dog as a kid on my bike, meanwhile Nick and whistler laughing in excitement.
